A double flat spring contact having an additional inner spring which has a housing with a base, two side walls and an upper wall, a connecting part extending forwards on the one side and two parallel spring arms which are arranged side by side extending forwards on the other side in the longitudinal direction, a location funnel being located in the front end region of the spring arm pairs, and bearing flaps being provided for the additional inner spring which is seated between the spring arm pairs, which have a base and two side walls which run towards one another in a V-shape. Incorporated in the upper end region of the side walls of the additional inner spring are in each case two incisions which form two side flaps and a centre flap, the side flaps are bent inwards and can be supported sideways, and the centre flaps press from the outside onto the bearing flaps, reinforcing flaps (28), which extend parallel to the spring arms, being connected in each case externally to each spring arm (15, 16, 17, 18) in the free end region, by a connecting web (27), which reinforcing flaps (28) are turned inwards onto the inner surface of the respective spring arm in order to form the location funnel (43) and the bearing flaps (37). <IMAGE>
