A method for mounting a pull-out guide, consisting of two pairs of rails, for a drawer is provided in such a way that an outer rail (3) and an inner rail (4) are firstly joined together to form a pair (2) of rails which is then secured with the aid of a retaining element (5) against displacement in the direction of a furniture body (6), the outer rail projecting beyond the end of the inner rail (4) facing away from the furniture body (6) and thus forming a handle which allows the pair (2) of rails subsequently to be guided securely in the furniture body (6) and the inner rail (4) to be attached thereto. A drawer (7) is then fitted onto the retained outer rails (3) and fixed on the outer rails (3). On completion of the fixture, the drawer (7) is pulled out and the retaining elements (5) are removed. To carry out the method according to the invention, a retaining element (5) is provided, which is arranged, when the outer rail (3) has been pulled out, outside the overlapping region between the outer and inner rails (3, 4), thus projecting into the interior of the outer rail (3) and being removably connected thereto. <IMAGE> |
