<p>PURPOSE:To recognize easily the latest number of function plates of a ROM by storing the number of ROM function plates,, the chip size and the microprogram size in a part of the blank part provided to each chip of the ROM. CONSTITUTION:A blank part 310 is provided for each ROM chip 31. Then the function plate number (1), the chip size (ROM size) (2) and the microprogram size (CS size) (3) are stored in a specific address part. A microprocessor MPU executes a microprogram stored in the corresponding chip 31 and reads the information of the program to recognize the latest number of function plates. Furthermore the partial change of the microprogram is possible in many cases within the chip 31 owing to the presence of the part 310. Thus the changes of the chip 31 can be decreased.</p> |
