A lighting device for display devices in motor vehicles is described, in the case of which a heating element is installed in the bulb interior of a halogen lamp, which heating element keeps the temperature in the interior of the bulb within a defined range even if the power consumption of the incandescent filament differs. A long life of the halogen lamp is thus ensured even if the halogen lamp is operated at reduced brightness. |
