摘要 PURPOSE:To synchronize a luminance signal and a color signal with each other with a simple constitution without using an expensive delay line by providing a YC time difference compensating circuit which advances or delays the phase in a horizontal blanking period of the color signal in accordance with the time difference between the luminance signal and the color signal. CONSTITUTION:If the color signal (C signal) is behind the luminance signal (Y signal), a selector circuit 44 is indicated to select a clock signal of a two-fold frequency from a lead/lag setting circuit 46, and switching timing and transmission time are indicated by a selector switching signal generating circuit 45. As the result, the phase in the horizontal blanking period is advanced by a time difference equal to the quantity of delay, and the selector circuit 44 compensates the time base when the horizontal blanking period is terminated. If the C signal leads the Y signal, the lead/lag setting circuit 46 indicates the selector circuit 44 to select a 1/2 frequency divided clock signal, and the phase in the horizontal blanking period is advanced by a time difference equal to the quantity of advance. After the horizontal blanking period is terminated, the selector circuit 44 selects a time base compensating clock signal.
