PURPOSE:To enable an appropriate limitation of a differential mechanism in response to operating conditions by supplying the discharge oil pressure from an oil pump interposed between the input shaft and the output shaft of the differential mechanism to a clutch mechanism. CONSTITUTION:If any rotating speed difference occurs between a front wheel output shaft 5 and a rear wheel output shaft 4, the rotating speed difference is restricted in response to the rotating speed difference by a differential limiting-mechanism 13. Further, the differential limiting-mechanism 13 is brought into a nonoperable state by controlling the discharge pressure of an oil pump 14 by means of relief valves 26 and 27 so as to be less than a prescribed value, and allowing the rotating speed difference by means of a center differential gear 6 to prevent the braking phenomenon. Furthermore, by setting arbitrarily the degree of throttle of orifices 30 and 31 which are an oil pressure control means 280, the differential limitation can be automatically carried out.
