<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate temperature adjustment even when a driving system is changed and to eliminate the need to vary the circuit constant, etc., of a temperature control circuit by detecting the actual quantity of transmitted light by using a liquid crystal optical shutter for temperature detection which holds a liquid crystal optical shutter at proper temperature. CONSTITUTION:The output of an LCS (liquid crystal optical shutter) driver 6 is inputted to the liquid crystal optical shutter 2 and the microshutter in the liquid crystal optical shutter 2 is opened and closed under the control of the LCS driver 6. The liquid crystal optical shutter 9 for temperature detection which is provided on the same substrate with said liquid crystal optical shutter 2 is opened and closed by the LCS driver 6 and light from a light source 1 is transmitted through the liquid crystal optical shutter 9 for temperature detection and incident on a photosensor 5. Variation in the quantity of light is inputted to a terminal I1 of a control part 7 as variation of a voltage signal. This input signal permits the control part 7 to output a control signal to a hot cooling air generator 8 from terminals O1 and O2 of the control part 7 in synchronism with a clock signal inputted from the LCS driver 6 to a terminal I2 of the control part 7.</p> |
