PURPOSE:To control heating current of a heater without applying large current to a temperature switch itself by impressing temperature sensitive current from the temperature switch to the gate of a thyristor connected in series between a power source and a heater as gate current. CONSTITUTION:A heater coil 3 is wound on a piping 1 for cooling in which liquid metallic sodium etc. is flowed, and heat insulating material 2 is wound on outside of it. The heater coil 3 is connected to a power source 5 through a cable 4 and a switch 10, and further, a thyristor 10 is connected in series for controlling temperature. The gate of a thyristor 11 is connected to a temperature switch 9 connected to a cable from the power source through a resistor 13. As the resistance value of the temperature switch 9 changes according to the temperature of the piping 1, gate current of the thyristor 11 is controlled, and when temperature becomes above a set value, the thyristor 11 is made off.
