PURPOSE:To obtain required vacuum drying data with a normal operation in a test with a relatively small amt. of sample by providing a drying tray made of a synthetic fiber fabric and a cooling plate in common use for heating in a vacuum drying tester. CONSTITUTION:The drying tray 2 is installed in a vacuum vessel 1 and thereafter the inside of the vessel 1 is maintained at about 10 Torr degree of vacuum by starting a vacuum generator 5. A sample supplying device 14 is started in this state and the pasty stock liquid of chicken soup is spread and imposed to a thin film shape on the tray 2. The temp. of the hot water and cooling water to be introduced into the cooling plate 3 in common use for heating and the working time thereof are set by the sequence function of a control device 4 and the vacuum drying test is executed. The noise by the unbalance between the quantity of the sample and the capacity of the device disposed in the actual production stage is thus laminated in the case of selecting vacuum drying conditions for a relatively small amt. of the sample in a test process preceding to the normal operation.
