发明名称 DETECTOR FOR DIRECTION AND POSITION OF UNMANNED VEHICLE
摘要 PURPOSE:To calibrate intermittently the direction and position of an unmanned vehicle by detecting the direction and position of the vehicle when the unmanned vehicle passes by a marker provided on the expected run path of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Sensors 5 and 6 detect themselves crossing segments which constitute a marker 2 and apply their detection signals to an arithmetic device 12. The arithmetic device 12 performs specific arithmetic on the basis of inputs from the sensors 5 and 6 and a run length detector 10 to calculate the lateral direction of the vehicle from a reference point 0 or the quantity of deviation in course from the expected run path 3. Signals which indicate the current run direction and current position of the unmanned vehicle 11 during marker passing which are obtained as mentioned above are applied to the arithmetic device 13 and utilized to calibrate the estimated position and the direction detected by a direction detector 11.
