PURPOSE:To increase the distance between an atomized material and a photosensitive material and to form an excellent hologram by using two conversion lenses. CONSTITUTION:A laser light beam irradiated by a laser oscillator 10 is expanded by a diverging lens 12 and then converted into parallel luminous flux through a collimator lens 14. This parallel luminous flux is converted on the rear focus of the 1st converging lens 20, i.e. the front focus of the 2nd converging lens 22 and converted by the 2nd converging lens 22 into parallel luminous flux, which operates as reference light. When the atomized material is supplied from a fuel injection valve 40, a light beam diffracted by the atomized material forms an image of the atomized material as object light at the rear focus of the 2nd converging lens 22 through the 1st converging lens 20 and the 2nd converging lens 22. Therefore, the reference light and object light interfere with each other on the surface of the photosensitive material 16 to record a diffraction pattern on the photosensitive material.
