PURPOSE:To remove automatically the dust on the lens surface by setting a cleaning brush for objective lens slidably to a guide shaft and having a contact between the brush and the lens when a disk table is loaded and unloaded. CONSTITUTION:A brush holder 16 holding a cleaning brush 15 for objective lens is set slidably to a guide 17. The brush 15 is usually at rest at the position of the natural length of a spring 18. When a disk table 13 is loaded, a front face 13a of the table 13 presses the holder 16. Then the brush 15 is in light contact with an objective lens 8 and removes the dust on the lens surface. This cleaning is also carried out in the same way when the table 13 is unloaded. Thus the dust on the lens surface can be removed automatically. |
