PURPOSE:To obtain a storage battery plate having uniform filling density on its both sides and good quality by installing a pressure sensor in the lower part of pasting belt and setting a pressure control roller in a paste hopper, then operating them coupled with each other. CONSTITUTION:When a grid G passes under a hopper 7, it is filled with paste P with pasting rollers 3 and 3'. A pressure sensor 10 is connected to the lower part of a pasting belt 6 through a contact device 11. When the filling pressure of the paste P to the grid G is low, the pressure sensor 10 increases the rotating speed of pressure control rollers 4 and 4' within a paste hopper 1. The flow of the paste P which is moved by pasting rollers 3 and 3' is interrupted and the filling pressure is increased to the specified pressure. Therefore, the grid G is filled with paste uniformly and densely. |
