<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to always carry out stepless speed change in a transmission system, by using an eccentric cam assembly composed of two inner and outer eccentric cams, in a variable displacement type hydraulic pump adapted to be disposed in the inlet section of a hydraulic transmission system for bicycles. CONSTITUTION:An outer eccentric cam 34 is rotatably fitted on an inner eccentric cam 34 fixed to a center shaft 8. This inner eccentric cam 30 is integrally incorporated with an internal gear 33, and the outer eccentric gear is meshed with an internal gear 38 which has the same shape as that of and coaxial with the internal gear 33. A swing gear 43 is meshed with the internal gear 33 and a center gear 46 rotatably fitted on the center shaft 8, therebetween. The rotation of the swing gear 43 relative to the center shaft 8 is transmitted to a center gear 40, a stationary gear 41 and then to the internal gear 38 to rotate the outer eccentric cam 34 relative to the inner eccentric cam 30 in order to control the discharge volume of a hydraulic pump A.</p> |
