PURPOSE:To make the cooling intended for controlling material quality with high accuracy possible by cooling a hot rolled steel sheet by a preliminarily calculated cooling pattern and subjecting the cooling to feedback control in accordance with the actually measured transformation rate so that the transition of the transformation rate of the steel sheet attains the target transformation rate pattern. CONSTITUTION:The components and target material quality So of the hot rolled steel sheet 12 and rolling conditions are inputted by a data input device 20. The target transformation rate pattern and target cooling pattern are then calculated 22. The cooling mattern approximate most to the quality So out of the predicted material quality Scal is selected from the determined plural cooling patterns and a convergence calculation is made so that both approximate to each other. The selected cooling pattern is corrected by the temp. correction DELTAT1 of the equation obtd. by such convergence calculation. The bank pattern suiting a cooling water bank 13 is determined from the corrected cooling pattern and the above-mentioned convergence calculation is repeated to obtain such a cooling pattern at which the material quality Scal calculated again attains the range of the predetermined target material accuracy epsilono. The resulted target transformation rate pattern and target cooling pattern are thereafter outputted to a cooling control device 24. |
