发明名称 FORMATION OF FLUORESCENT SCREEN IN FLUORESCENT CHARACTER DISPLAY TUBE
摘要 PURPOSE:To automate formation of fluorescent screen by bearing the fluorescent particles on a bearing member then feeding to a segment electrode formed on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:When the fluorescent particles 11 are charged positively, the bearing member 15 is composed of magnetic member having negatively charged characteristic and composed of larger particles than the fluorescent particles. The rotary member 14 is comprising a sleeve 14a made of non-magnetic material such as aluminum and a magnet 14b and rotated with predetermined speed in the arrow direction. The rotary member 14 will rotate while adsorbing the bearing member 15 born electrostatically on the fluorescent particles 11 magnetically in brush-shape onto the circumferential face. The substrate 1 having the portion 2b exposed in dot is held on the belt carrying means 17 and carried while maintaining the position where the exposed portion 2b will contact against the magnetic brush comprising the fluorescent particles and the bearing member.
