PURPOSE:To install an endlessly formed rail at an optional position while adjusting it by fixing and clamping the rail on a pedestal composed of sliding plates which adjoin to each other while beveled each on one side and are slidable in the opposite directions. CONSTITUTION:The sliding plates 4 and 5 which constitute the pedestal are made adjacent to each other while beveled on one side and provided slidably in the opposite directions. The rail is fitted by a jig to a rail fitting base plate 15 fixed to the sliding plate 5 detachably so that its fitting position is finely adjustable. When the rail 16 is moved to the left in figure, a bolt 13 and a nut 14 fixing the sliding plate 15 are unclamped, then a nut 11 is loosened, and a bolt 10 is screwed in. Then, the sliding plate 4 is pressed down to slide the sliding plate 5 to the left and then the rail moves to the left. When the rail 16 is moved up or down, a bolt 17 is turned and the position of the rail pressing jig 18 is only adjusted.
