PURPOSE:To attain correct recording or reproduction by providing a mechanism depressing a disc tentatively to a center spindle in pushing a holder for locking. CONSTITUTION:A cam face 84 depressing a plate spring 5 to the inside of a pack housing 6 is formed, a spring 85 energyzing a projection 52 in a direction parted from the cam face 84 is connected to a retaining lever 8, an operating lever 9 whose upper free end 91 approaches a projected end of the retaining lever 8 and whose lower free end approaches a lock member 7 is supported to the side face of the pack housing 6 and a contact face 74 operating the operating lever 9 when the said member 7 is moved in the lock release direction is formed to the lock member 7. When the holder 4 is lifted up and parted from the center spindle 3, the disc pack 1 is loaded to the pack housing 6. The spring 44 fitted to the holder 4 pushes the housing 6 by depressing the holder 4 toward the spindle 3 to move the housing 6 and the pack 1 in the housing toward the spindle 3 and the spindle 3 is fitted to a shaft hole 15 of the disc 13 in the pack 1.
