PURPOSE:To adjust simply the tilt of an optical axis of an objective lens simply by using an adjusting screw so as to correct the tilt of the light axis of the objective lens. CONSTITUTION:The light axis of the objective lens 8 is corrected to be perpendicularly to the recording face of an optical disc 1 by tightening tilt adjusting screws 28a, ... to tilt a base 21 in the direction A or C, by tightening screws 29a, ... to tilt the base 21 in the direction B or D.
