PURPOSE:To avoid a reception impossible state arising when an operator is committed in illegalities by providing a counting means which detects an incoming call through a communication circuit and counts the number of detecting times and a setting means which switches a device set in a manual reception mode to an automatic reception made in accordance with the output of the counting means. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming call is preset in a circuit control part 1, it informs a central control part 2 of the effect. Said part 2, detecting the calling sound and transmitting its detection output pulse, counts an incoming call detection pulse from the circuit control part 1. It discriminates whether or not the counted value reaches the preset number N1 (for instance N=7), discriminates it as the incoming of a facsimile signal when it reaches the prescribed number, and operates a facsimile mechanism part 3 so as to execute an automatic facsimile reception. When the incoming call disappears before the number of the incoming call sound detection output pulses reaches the prescribed number, the action at the time of the incoming call ends as it is. |
