PURPOSE:To improve the erosion resistance by forming the steam inlet side part and the outlet side part of a nozzle blade from welding metal having higher hardness than the main material of the nozzle blade. CONSTITUTION:The steam inlet side part and outlet side part 4 of a nozzle blade part 2 having nozzle blade racks 1 at both sides of it are integrated therewith by the pad welding using welding metal having higher hardness than the main material of the nozzle blade part 2. Erosion produced byu the action of solid particles contained in the steam which is generated in operation of a turbine is thus reduced so that the erosion resistance of the turbine blade can be improved.
