PURPOSE:To prevent a switching element from damaging due to an overheat based on the overcurrent in case of an unbalanced current by relatively regulating at least one output voltage of two single-phase inverters with respect to the other output voltage. CONSTITUTION:Waveform composite circuits 4U, 4U are formed independently at every phase inverters 2U, 2V. Both wave composite circuits 4U, 4V read out waveform information stored in advance to compensate the unbalanced current at every phase from a ROM 3, and apply different output voltages at every phase windings 1U. 1V. Thus, even if the impedances of the both phase windings 1U, 1V of a motor are imbalanced, a balanced phase current, i.e., an inverter current can be made to flow. |
