PURPOSE:To enable a machine tool to machine the other work by a tool head, moved to the other machining zone, even when a work is mounted and replaced, by providing a plurality of work mounting beds and movably arranging the tool head between the plural work mounting beds. CONSTITUTION:A machine tool provides two sets of work mounting beds 2, 3 on a front bed 1a fixedly set onto a floor while moving columns 5, equipped with a tool head 4 moving along X, Y, Z-axis directions for each work W on the work mounting beds 2, 3, to be mounted onto a rear bed 1b. In short, the machine tool, movably arranging moving bases 7 on a rail 6 extending along the X-axis direction on the rear bed 1b, movably provides the moving columns 5 in the Z-axis direction on the moving bases 7. While the machine tool supports the tool head 4 onto a block 8 liftably provided in a front surface of the moving column 5. Further the machine tool provides a tool exchanger 17, for replacing a tool T on a tool magazine 16 with a tool T on the main spindle tool head 4, in a front side angular part of the tool magazine 16. |
