PURPOSE:To continuously carry out the whole grinding processes by setting a work head shiftable in the X-axis direction and setting a grindstone head equipped with a prescribed number of grindstones shiftable in the Y- and Z-axis directions and turnable around the Z-axis direction. CONSTITUTION:A work head 2 holds a work and slides on a pair of rails 14 extending on the horizontal X-axis on a table 15 and is equipped with a driving means AM for revolving a work holding chuck 5 around the axis center. A column 20 slides on a rail 21 extending along the horizontal Y-axis on a base body 1. A grindstone head 23 is installed through a bracker 24 onto the column 20, which is equipped with a driving motor ZM for vertically moving the bracket 24 along the column 20, driving motor for turning the grindstone head 23 around the Z-axis, and a driving motor BM for revolving a plurality of grindstones. |
