PURPOSE:To prevent reduction of an output during an increase in an atmospheric temperature, by a method wherein a cold heat is generated from a waste heat recovered from exhaust gas, and air for combustion is cooled by means of the cold heat. CONSTITUTION:A waste recovery heat exchanger 9 is located in an exhaust gas passage 8 running from a gas turbine 1. A heating medium heated by the heat exchanger 9 is circulatingly fed to a cold heat producing device 12 through a passage 11. Meanwhile, a heat exchanger 13 is located in an air conveying passage 6 of the gas turbine 1, and a coolant passage 15 is installed between the heat exchanger 13 and the cold heat producing device 12. A coolant produced by the cold heat producing device 12 is circulatingly fed to the heat exchanger 13 to cool air for combustion in the air conveying passage 6. This enables prevention of a decrease in the output of a turbine even when an atmospheric temperature is increased.
