PURPOSE:To manufacture the rubber hose, excellent in pressure resistant property, durability or the like and receiving no deterioration in the reinforcing layer thereof by a method wherein a thermoplastic resin film is arranged between an inner tube and the reinforcing layer upon braiding the reinforcing layer while the resin film is molten upon heating, pressing and vulcanizing. CONSTITUTION:The inner tube 12 is formed on a mandrel by extrusion and, then, the thermoplastic resin film 18 is arranged between the inner tube 12 and the reinforcing layer 14 so as to roll braidings 14 when brass-plated steel wires are braided into braiding 14. Thereafter, an outer tube 16 is extruded to coat and the hose is vulcanized. The resin is coated on the surface of each element wire of the metallic wire and the resin film is molten upon vulcanizing, further, the material of the inner tube flows between respective metallic wires, furthermore, the molten resin coats the surface of each element of the metallic wire.
