PURPOSE:To solve the shortage of heat collecting amount in winter and effect efficient heat collecting operation by a method wherein a temperature detector, detecting refrigerant temperature and switching a four-way valve into a refrigerant reverse circuit, is provided and first bypass pipe is provided in parallel to a pressure reducer while the second bypass pipe is provided from the intermediate piping of the heat collector to the outlet pipeline thereof. CONSTITUTION:In case an atmospheric temperature is low in winter, the evaporating temperature of refrigerant in the heat collector 5 is reduced and frosting is caused on the surface of the heat collector 5. In this case, the refrigerant temperature is detected by the temperature detector 8 to switch the four-way valve 2 into a defrosting circuit and flow the overheated compression gas of a compressor 1 to the outlet of the heat collector 5 and the intermediate area of the same collector 5, whereat heavy frosting is readily caused, through the second bypass pipe 9. The frost is molten and the refrigerant is condensed and liquefied by the condensing heat and the refrigerant flows into the condenser 3 through the first bypass pipe 7 and is heated by water, sent from a pump 12, through the heater 13, thereafter, is returned to the compressor 1 through the four-way valve 2 after being evaporated and gassified. When the defrosting of the heat collector 5 is finished, the refrigerant temperature at the inlet port thereof is increased and the temperature detector 8 detects it to switch the four-way valve into a heat collecting operation circuit. Accordingly, the heat collecting operation may be effected even in such low atmospheric temperature that causes frosting by only effecting the defrosting operation for a short period of time. |
