<p>PURPOSE:To attain a mode changeover very simply by providing a play lever allowing the 1st and 2nd pinch rollers to abut a capstan shaft and a select plate allowing selectively both the pinch rollers to abut the capstan shaft. CONSTITUTION:Since an upper side cassette tape 1 is susceptible to the effect of vibration of the capstan 7 more than a lower side cassette tape 2, major functions are provided to a lower side tape T2 and the upper side tape T1 is used exclusively for reproduction. When a select plate 16 is in a continuous mode position, the slanted part 14d of a mode changeover lever 14 moves the select plate 16 in the direction A to change over the mode into the T2 mode and when the select plate 16 is in the mode of T2, T1 of dubbing mode position, a lock release plate 15 moves a lock plate 18 in the direction D to release the lock of a play lever 20 and to restore it into the stop state. Thus, the mode changeover is attained with a simple structure.</p> |
