PURPOSE:To speed up a processing with respect to a smeared-out picture by storing dot data in a bit map memory only with respect to the boundary of the picture and reading it so as to generate its original dot data. CONSTITUTION:A write control part 3 writes a bit positioned in the boundary of the picture concerned amount bit data showing the original picture, for instance, only two bits in right and left boundaries on one horizontal scan line, in the bit map memory 1. A picture data generating part 2 generates the original picture data from picture data read out of the memory 1. Then the generated picture data is supplied to a display 4 and displayed on it. Accordingly the picture having many smeared-out parts can be stored in the memory at high speed and is displayed. |
