PURPOSE:To speed up processing and to reduce the consumption amount of paper by providing a synthesizing mode selecting means for selecting an image forming action and an image formation position indicating means for indicating an image forming position on the paper with respect to plural originals each. CONSTITUTION:In terms of images of sequentially read out originals P1-P4 the image forming position is indicated, and images are re-arranged to form them on the paper T. At this time, after the depression of a synthesizing mode selecting key 50, a ten-key 56 is operated, and the number of originals to be synthesized is set. Then, when an image forming position indicating mode selecting key 52 is depressed, a picture plane is displayed on an LCD 5. According to the display, the ten-key 56 is operated to indicate image forming position coordinates by the originals P1-P4. With this indication a page memory address controller being a write control means decides the top address of each original picture with respect to an image memory in accordance with the coordinates. |
