PURPOSE:To improve the quality of image edition and to speed up image formation by giving a function which forms and outputs plural original images on a sheet of paper and erasing a part on a part equivalent to the profile of each original so as to add newly a boundary line. CONSTITUTION:After an image erasure mode selecting key 53 is depressed, a ten-key 56 specifies a profile area, whereby image data in this area is forcibly set to zero in an image memory. After the counter lines of the originals to be synthesized are erased, the contour line of each original can be newly written in the image memory. At this time, after the profile area to be erased is specified through the image erasure mode selecting key 53 and the key 56, a framing mode selecting key 54 being a profile write mode selecting means is depressed. Following the erasure action of the profile area, the new contour line is written in the area. |
