PURPOSE:To accurately perform the spot deposition of a predetermined amount of a liquid, by a method wherein a piston begins to fall in a cylinder after the cylinder was fallen to be contacted with the opening of a cup and the falling of a support is finished after the falling of the piston in the cylinder was finished. CONSTITUTION:A spot depositing cup 1 is set to the cup support 2 of a spot deposition device and a support 2 is supported at both ends thereof in a pair of C-shape parts 6 forming the base stand of the spot deposition device main body 5. A cylinder 7 is supported by the main body 5 through a spring 8 above the opening part 3 supporting the cup 1 so as to be freely moved in the up-and- down direction. Further, a piston 9 is supported by the cylinder 7 through a spring 10 so as to be freely slid through the cylinder 7 in the up-and-down direction. The strengths of three springs are set in the stronger order of the spring 4, the spring 10 and the spring 8. Therefore, the piston 9 begins to fall after the cylinder 7 was fallen to be contacted with the opening part 3 and the support 2 is fallen after the piston 9 finished falling in the cylinder 7. By this method, a quantitative amount of a liquid can be accurately deposited in a spot shape. |
