PURPOSE:To form a spiral coil without strain, by mounting a piece of conducting wire around a coil jig, whose shape is freely changed, changing the shape of the jig, and providing plastic deformation in the conducting wire in a spiral shape. CONSTITUTION:An angle formed by each arm 11 and the vertical direction is kept at a specified value alpha. A supporting shaft 8 is turned in the direction of an arrow by a turning means comprising a motor and the like. At the same time, a conducting wire 13 is continuously moved downward bit by bit. The conducting wire 13 is wound around a jig 19 in a spiral shape from the upper side to the lower side. When the widing of the conducting wire 13 around the jig by a specified number of turns is finished, air is injected into each cylinder 16 through the lower end part of each cylinder 16, and each piston 17 is moved upward. Each arm 11 is expanded to the horizontal state as shown by an alternate long and two short dashes line. The jig 19 is deformed. The conducting wire 13, which is wound in a spiral shape, undergoes plastic deformation, and the spiral coil is formed. |
