PURPOSE:To collect input data at a center side and to improve the collecting efficiency of data by modifying automatically table-type data generated at a center device side into the data format of a data processor and transferring the modified data to the data processor. CONSTITUTION:The data processor 2 is connected to a center device 1 composed of a keyboard 4, an external memory device 5 and a monitor device 6 through a cable 3 to constitute a data collecting system. In terms of a variety of data inputted to the RAM 3 of the device 1, a CPU 10 modifies automatically the table type data into the data format of the processor 2 according to a sequence program stored in a ROM 12. The modified data is transferred to the side of the processor 2 through a communication control part 15 and the cable 3. The transferred data is data-processed by the CPU 20, the ROM 21, the RAM 22, etc., of the processor 2, and transferred to the side of the device 1, thereby facilitating the collection of various data.
