PURPOSE:To cut material cost, etc. by assembling an electric motor art by the front and rear fixed frames having a recessed part on a flange obtained through press molding work, thus forming a cylindrical baring for supporting and connecting the fixed frame onto a supporting frame and constituting the fixed frame from an iron plate. CONSTITUTION:A pair of semicircular recessed parts 8 are formed onto each flange 7 projecting in the direction of outer periphery at each opened port of the front and rear fixed frames 2 and 3 which are formed in skip form through the pressing of an iron plate. When a stator 1 is fixed by surrounding the stator 1 and a rotor 10 by the front and rear fixed frames 2 and 3, the front and rear fixed frames 2 and 3 are joined by a screw 5 at the position where a pair of cylindrical bearings 4 are to be formed by each pair of recessed parts 8, and thus an electric motor part is constituted. A supporting screw 9 which is fixed into the screw hole of a supporting frame 6 which rotatably supports said electric motor part into the body stand (not shown in the figure) is inserted into the bearing 4, and the front and rear fixed frames 2 and 3 are rotatably supported and connected onto the supporting frame 6. With such constitution, the fixed frame is made from an iron plate, and the working cost and material cost can be cut markedly.
