IMAGE LAYOUT METHOD IN LAYOUT SCANNER

摘要

PURPOSE:To cut down labor for layout position designating work by scanning photoelectrically an original picture after the trimming area and position of the original picture are obtained and inputting image data only in the trimming area of each original picture together with the output position data of said image data to the memory device of a layout scanner. CONSTITUTION:With the use of an original picture trimming area deciding means such as an original picture placing device 1, more than one original picture 19 are placed on the input drum 11 of the scanner of an original picture input start 51 at a desired angle, and simultaneously the trimming area being the desired scan area of the original picture 19 and its position data are obtained. Then the position data is transmitted to the original picture input part 51, and image signals in the trimming area of each original picture 19 are sequentially inputted to an original picture image memory device 52. A layout part 53 stores said signals in an output image memory device 57 according to picture (pattern) duplication position data, which has been subjected to the layout position designation and is stored on a system disk 56.
