PURPOSE:To permit to lengthen the corrosion-resistant life of the equipment by a method wherein the end of a core rod of an anode member for flowing electric current, which is constituted of a sacrificed anode made of Sn, Al, Mg or the alloy thereof and the core rod of corrosion-resistant iron base alloy which is penetrated through the anode, is superposed on the connecting section of a heat exchanger and is welded. CONSTITUTION:Water, supplied between an inner tube 1 and an outer tube 2 from a feed water port 4, is heated by combustion gas from a burner 6 and is delivered through a hot-water supplying port 5. The core rod 9 of the anode member for flowing electric current, which is constituted of the sacrificed anode 8 and the core rod 9 of corrosion-resistant iron base alloy which is penetrated through the anode, is superposed on the inner tube 1 or outer tube 2 and an upper annular mirror plate 3 and is welded together therewith to fix it directly too a clearance between the inner tube 1, whose corrosion circumstance is being deteriorated, or the outer tube 2 and the upper annular mirror plate 3. By the anode effect of the anode member for flowing electric current, the deterioration of clearance corrosion generating potential of the metallic material constituting the upper connecting section of the hot-water supplying equipment is held and generation of leakage due to clearance corrosion, corrosion of hole, stress, resistant life of the equipment may be lengthened.
