PURPOSE:To improve work efficiency, by providing a parts conveying head, parts mounting head and a parts delivery intermediate station, in the case of a device automatically mounting electronic parts onto a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A parts conveying head 2a picks up a part (a) from a taping cassette device 16 to be delivered to an intermediate station 4. Next, a parts mounting head 2b picks up the part (a) to be mounted to a predetermined position of a work on a carrier 9 moved coming in a direction X crossing at a right angle with the head 2b. A mounting device, being equipped with each one parts supply part 1 to the right and left, arranges also every two of the parts conveying head 2a and the parts mounting head 2b corresponding to the parts supply part 1, and when one head picks up the part (a), the other head repeats the same action with a delay of half cycle. While each head, providing a parts position correcting means no shown, comes to hole the part in a proper position. The mounting device controls the all action by a control unit not shown.
