PURPOSE:To decrease the capacity of a memory by storing an optional one of function codes in a memory together with a printing data as a repeated printing instruction, when executing the printing. CONSTITUTION:After a printer has read out a data of a pattern A, when a repeated printing instruction 1 is read out, the printer executes read-out again from an address 3 in which the first data of the pattern A stored in addresses 4012, 4013 is stored, namely, an address 4000. When the printer reads out a data of a pattern B, and a repeated printing instruction 4 is read out, read-out is executed again from an address 4016. In such a way, it becomes unnecessary to store all the data that are printed by a self-printer.
