PURPOSE:To send out the change of input data to be conformed from the aspect of detection or control without delay, by a method wherein the max. value and min. value in input data up to the predetermined time from now to the past are respectively set to an upper limit value and a lower limit value and, if input data takes a vale within the range of both values, said input data is sent out after smoothing processing and, if out of the range, said data is sent out as it is. CONSTITUTION:The detection output of an electromagnetic flowmeter 1 is applied to CPU3 as input data Di through an A/D converter 2. CPU3 performs predetermined operational processing and converted to an analogue signal through a D/A converter to be sent out as output data D0. ROM5 and RAM6 are attached to CPU3 and the order in ROM5 is put into practice by CPU3 and operational processing is performed while necessary data is accessed to RAM6. The max. value and the min. value are calculated from input data up to the predetermined time from now to the past and respectively determined as an upper limit value and a lower limit value and, if the input data takes a value within the range of both values, said input data is sent out after smoothing processing was performed and, if out of the range, said input data is sent out as it is.
