PURPOSE:To enable to print at a designated position of a slip or the like through enhancing the accuracy of paper feed quantity at the times of one-pitch feeding and rapid paper feeding, by providing a paper-feeding mechanism which performs paper feeding by a series of drive sources. CONSTITUTION:A paper-feeding gear 2 and a paper feed transmitting gear 1 constitute a one-way clutch, and a cam stroke (c) of a deep-groove cam 14-3 provides the gear 2 with an oscillating angle for feeding a printing paper by two pitches, while a cam stroke (d) provides the gear 2 with an oscillating angle for feeding the paper by one pitch. A paper-feeding cam 14 has a cylindrical part 14-1 making contact with a flat surface 17-1 to perform positioning in a thrust direction, and a clearance with a length (e) is provided between the cam 14 and a rapid feeding lever 15. With a cam shaft 20 rotated in the direction of arrow (a), a shuttle head is slidden in the direction of arrow (b) to start printing. The paper is not fed during the forward stroke of the shuttle head, and is fed by one pitch during the backward stroke. |
