PURPOSE:To transmit a wide original such as A3 size by bisecting read bit information of one line and encoding two pieces of bisected bit information in a lamp. CONSTITUTION:A CCD clock 13 supplies a clock controlling the output of even or odd bit information from a CCD 4 to the CCD 4 and a distributor 12. It outputs even bit information and odd bit information to an even bit MH encoder 14 and an odd bit MH enoder 15, respectively, according as the clock is even or odd. Said even and odd bit MH encoders 14 and 15 MH-encode individual bit information data and output it to a MODEM 6 under the control of a CPU 9. Then MH encoded data is transmitted by the receiver of an opposite party from a circuit 8 through an NCU 7. |
