HAND SCANNER TYPE PICTURE INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To attain an accurate input of pictures with a simple operation by correcting picture information with the correction coefficient obtained from a comparison means. CONSTITUTION:A picture pattern of a light transmitting sheet 2 is stored in a reference pattern part 47 in the form of a reference pattern. The form produces no problem with storage at the part 47 as long as the picture pattern of the sheet 2 is reproduces. A comparison part 48 compares the reference pattern produced from the part 47 with the picture information read out of the picture pattern of the sheet 2 of the 2nd picture memory part 46. Then the distortion of the picture information produced by the slope of the scanning direction or the variance of the scanning speed produced through the scan carried by a hand scanner 3 is delivered in the form of a correction coefficient. This correction coefficient means a sloping angle, a reduction/enlargement ratio, etc. A correction part 49 corrects the picture information on the 1st picture memory part 45 with the correction coefficient obtained from the part 48.
