摘要 PURPOSE:To manufacture a superconductive wire contg. Ti added Nb3Sn at a low cost by extruding a composite body consisting of a Cu alloy having a specified composition contg. Sn and Ti and of Nb or an Nb alloy having a specified composition at a proper temp. and a high extrusion ratio. CONSTITUTION:A composite body consisting of a Cu alloy contg. 1-15atom% Sn and 0.1-8% Ti and of Nb or an Nb alloy contg. 0.1-15% one or more among Ti, Zr and Hf is extruded at >=400 deg.C and >=5 extrusion ratio. The resulting hot extruded material is subjected to warm wire drawing, rolling or pipe drawing at >=200 deg.C. Thus, the number of repetitions of process annealing is considerably reduced in the entire process and a superconductive wire of high quality contg. Ti added Nb3Sn is obtd. in an energy saving manner.
