PURPOSE:To attain independent operations between a general word dictionary part and a new word dictionary part, by actuating a directory part which controls the deletion of words and another directory part which controls the read/write of new words independently of each other. CONSTITUTION:When additional words are produced, a directory control part 7 indicates the addition of words to a new word directory part 6. Then a general word directory part 5 registers new words to a new word dictionary part 4. When the read-out is indicated by a document producing device main body 1, the part 7 searches the part 4 via the part 6 and reads the new words added to the main body 1. Then the part 7 searches a general word dictionary part 3 via the part 5 and reads the general words excluding a word bearing a deletion flag 3a to the main body 1. These read-out new words and general words are used for production of a document.
