PURPOSE:To attain the special effect of a control system of resolution by incircuiting a single signal processing circuit between the output of the image pickup device and a color signal processing circuit. CONSTITUTION:The signal outputted from the solid-state image pickup element 501 is delayed by a dealy circuit 502 for a time of tau, and further is delayed by a delay circuit 502' for another tau. The relation of the time with the carrier frequency f of chrominance signal is: tau=1/f. A signal Stau which is the signal delayed for tau is multiplied to K-times by a coefficient multiplier 503', and is subtracted from the original signal Stau, and further is multiplied by two by a coefficient multiplier 505. On the contrary, a signal SO that does not undergo the delay circuits, after being multiplied to K-times by a coefficient multiplier 503, is supplied to an adder 506. The signal delayed by the circuits 502 and 502' for 2tau is multiplied to K-times by a coefficient multiplier 503'', and is supplied to the adder 506. Therefore, the adder 506 outputs a signal-KSO +2Stau(1-K)+KS2tau which is the sum of the three signals. The said output is multiplied by 0.5 by a coefficient multiplier 507, and then is supplied to the chrominance signal processing circuit 508. |
