PURPOSE:To display plural pieces of graphic information related to each other on a display at a time by correlating these graphic information by means of the corresponding graphic elements. CONSTITUTION:The graphic information is read out of a graphic data holding part 4 in response to an indication given form an input part 2. This read-out information is displayed and corrected as necessary. The part 4 includes a symbol data area 9, a text data area 10 and a connection data area 11. The area 9 is divided into blocks. Each of these divided blocks stores a connection data pointer which points out a prescribed block on the area 11 (i), a symbol code which specifies the form of a corresponding symbol (ii) and a text data pointer which points out a prescribed block on the area 10 where the characters to be displayed within a corresponding symbol are stored (iii) respectively in response to each graphic element.
