PURPOSE:To obtain the titled cast tool having high strength, toughness and a superior scale forming property by specifying a composition consisting of C, Si, Mn, Ni, Cr, Al, REM, W, V, Nb, Ta, Zr, Ti, Cu, Co, Mo and Fe. CONSTITUTION:This cast tool for manufacturing a seamless pipe consists of, by weight, 0.2-0.5% C, 0.1-3.0% Si, 0.1-3.0% Mn, 0.5-4.0% Ni, 2.0-6.0% Cr, 0.001-3.0% Al, 0.005-1.0% REM, one or more among 0.1-5.0% W, 0.01-2.0% V, 0.01-2.0% Nb, 0.01-2.0% Ta, 0.01-2.0% Zr, 0.01-2.0% Ti, 0.1-5.0% Cu, 0.1-10.0% Co and 0.1-5.0% Mo, and the balance essentially Fe. The cast tool has high strength, toughness and a long endurance life and is well adaptable even to the manufacture of a steel pipe of a small diameter or the like, in which water cooled structure can not be provided during the manufacture. The cast tool also has a satisfactory scale forming property and can improve the properties of the inside of a steel pipe.
