PURPOSE:To obtain a cellulase having high beta-glucosidase activity, high exocellobiohydrolase activity and high endo-beta-glucanase activity, by cultivating a specific fungus belonging to the genus Trichoderma in a medium. CONSTITUTION:A fungus [e.g., (Trichoderma reasei) PCD-10 (FERM P-8172) or CDU-11 (FERM P-8173), etc.] belonging to the genus Terichoderma, having raised induction and formation ability of cellulase with cellobiose is cultivated in a medium preferably at 28-30 deg.C at 4-6pH for 4-10 days. Cellulase is formed and accumulated in the culture mixture and the cellulase is collected from the culture mixture. |
