PURPOSE:To enable a fellow passenger to watch television without disturbing the drive operation of the driver, by projecting television images when the vehicle is stopped, or only when a shield device is pulled out to shield television images. CONSTITUTION:A retractable shield hood 8 which may shield a Braun tube 6 is extractably and storably attached to a television body 200. Further, there is provided a limit switch 9 which is turned on when the hood 8 is pulled out. Further, there is provided a judging circuit 10 for controlling an image signal turn-on and -off switch 11 in accordance with the conditions of a vehicle speed detecting circuit 7 and the limit switch 9. In the case of that the shield hood 8 is stored, the switch 1 may be turned on only when the vehicle is on resting, to project television images on the Braun tube 6. Meanwhile in the case of that the shield hood 8 is pulled out, the switch 11 is turned on to project television images on the Braun tube 6. |
